In early summer the forests are filled with bright green colors and it’s not rare to come across fog, something often attributed to late summer and autumn. The following photographs were taken on a weekend trip to the Bavarian Forest in Germany and while on a two day hike through the Appenzell region of Switzerland. I’ve deliberately left out (almost) all pictures I took of buildings, trying to concentrate on nature.
