A Walk to Pfarrachalm

You never know what the weather will be like when you make plans far in advance. We were looking forward to our trip to Innsbruck to visit friends and it turned out we lucked out with the weather. It may have been foggy, but it was dry one day and the next it was sunny and mild. The day we left we woke up to snow, but that doesn’t make much of a difference on a long train ride. The day it was foggy, we walked up in the snow to the Pfarrachalm in the Stubaital. The view was fantastic and because it was closed for the winter season, we were the only ones up there.

Such beauty, and the fog adds a touch of mystery. I’m happy to know it’s winter someplace because it sure isn’t winter here! As always, your photography skills are amazing!
