Flowers for Happiness

“If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for a moment.” Georgia O’Keeffe

Working in the garden today, I let my thoughts flow. Especially now during trying times, I feel it’s vital to not take everything for granted, to be compassionate, to give kindness, and to open our eyes and see the people and the world around us.

My garden is bursting into life and suddenly I had the urge to capture it. Once I started really looking, I noticed that many more flowers are already blooming that I originally thought. In only a few days the magnolia buds will have opened, the late daffodil varieties will be blooming and the tulips will be adding blots of color.

Stay healthy!
