The Arches of Mont Saint Michel

Mont Saint Michel is one of those places that seems to be on everyone’s bucket list, and I understand why. This was my second time visiting and it was no less interesting. In fact, this time I saw details I missed last time. Last time we were among the last visitors that day and there were very few other people there. This time we went at noon and it was perfect because most other tourists were at lunch. It was an unusually hot day, but the thick walls kept the building cool.

The arches will never cease to fascinate me.

One of my all time biggest regrets is not going to Mont Saint Michel with you. I will never forgive myself for missing this amazing historical site. Your photographs are beautiful and I love all of the arches!

  2. You really captured the essence of the gothic arches of this amazing monastery. I’m so grateful that I was able to join you on your first visit to this world-famous site. Great photos!
