Postcard from Salta

Coming from Buenos Aires, Salta feels like a small town out in the country. The downtown part of the city is fairly small, but it sprawls out over a large area and is home to more than a million inhabitants. The streets are very busy- beware of cars, buses and religious parades! Notable is the fact that Salta, known as La Linda (the beautiful one) still has many beautiful old buildings built in the colonial style.

  3. I really enjoyed seeing your photos of Salta. The great colonial architecture is a reminder that Argentina is a big country with a wide variety of regions and places.
