Salta Road Trip, Part 3

“But in the desert, in the pure clean atmosphere, in the silence – there you can find yourself.” (Father Dioscuros)

Every day we spent driving through the desert we spectacular and the drive from Cafayate back to Salta was no different. But I think this day surprised me the most with the sheer difference each driven kilometer brought with it. First it was pure white sand dunes, then bright red rocks reminiscent of the national parks in the southwest of the US, a wide river with lush grass and then again pure dryness of the desert.

This really does remind me of the St. George area of southern Utah! So pretty 🙂

  2. That was quite a combination of very different desert landscapes. The variety is impressive, and your photos are beautiful.

What wonderful photographs of beautiful landscapes, they remind me so much of places we saw in Utah. These amazing rock formations just proves that Mother Nature waves her magic wand all over the world.
