Larches in the Sun

It’s become somewhat of a tradition of mine to go to the Engadin in mid-October. It’s a welcome break before the holiday season begins, and I love the colored larches. Although you never quite know how vivid they will be. This year everything was a bit later than usual, but no less beautiful.

One of my favorite things to do it hike through the Val Rosegg. I did it earlier this winter in the snow, and since it was a beautifully sunny day, I went again.

Of course, once again I’m blown away at the intense beauty you capture with the lens of your camera! The trees, mountains and streams are gorgeous but I’m mesmerized by the photos of the grasses under the aqua blue water. I might need those for my bedroom wall!

  2. What a beautiful hike through the Val Rosegg. I wish I had been there with you.
